Every time I hear the word "humanity", I wonder what it could possibly mean? Politicians, theologians, teachers, and all people use it so carelessly as if they actually understand the meaning of it. We talk of people from different walks of life coming to together for betterment of "humanity", but who is this humanity? Who I ask? Is this humanity the rich, the poor, the brokenhearted, the abandoned, the wounded, or is it all of mankind? Like I said, we use the word so carelessly without really thinking about the meaning of this word. We have no idea what this word really describes. How many times has this word been heard yet fire still rains from the skies?
We are humanity! We are mankind! We must stand up and bring joy to the world. We are all brothers and sisters in the same fight for life.
